Atrium Glazing

Large format glazing is a key feature across the front elevation. The entrance to the home benefits from a stunning entrance atrium with two sidelights sat either side of the statement front door and lining through with a large picture window above. The windows are separated by a distinctive overhanging canopy that gives the impression of one continuous window frame.

A similar theme has been repeated with the casement windows, the upper floor windows span full height from ceiling to floor, while externally the structural steels have been cloaked in aluminium pressings, so they blend in with the ground floor windows, again to create a cohesive aesthetic that appears like one large window. An additional picture window sits above the contemporary cladding to give a distinctly modern edge to this front elevation.

The front elevation looks fantastic, while internally the benefits will be felt by the thermal efficiency of the windows, which will make the most of every hour of daylight ensuring the rooms in the front of the house are well lit and secure thanks to the quality of our windows and front door.

Full height picture windows

Picture windows are the perfect compliment to the sliding doors across the rear elevation. The returns are made solely from glass to retain the glass room effect internally and like the front elevation, a large glass screen sits above a three-panel sliding door to create the look of one window spanning two floors. The structural junctures where windows meet on corners and sit above doors are all concealed by colour matched pressings to create a cohesive look throughout and to match the modern external cladding.

Internally is where the benefits are truly felt, floor to ceiling panoramic windows that makes the space feel even bigger and a seamless barrier to allow the homeowners and guests to enjoy the outside views.

Our products are pivotal to the design of this home, the RAL colour used throughout is our standard jet black 9005 in a fine textured finish, which reduces fingerprints and requires less cleaning than a matt finish. The sizes and specifications of the various products used are detailed below.

Every aspect of this homes design is unique with distinctive architectural features across the front and rear of the home, and the interiors. Our glazing played a pivotal role in the design of this house. The front door is a true statement positioned alongside large windows, which look superb against the modern render and cladding.

The unique basement extension has created a huge open space that is set over two floors, which both lead out onto a level outside area. The combination of contemporary cladding, aluminium pressings and our sleek windows and doors has created a bold exterior, which is unashamedly modern. The interiors continue that theme, floor to ceiling glass throughout, with minimal sightlines amplified by the slimming and neutral black RAL colour. The back drop to the modern design is of course the surrounding woodland views, which thanks to the expansive design of the house and our large format glazing, feel very much like a consistent backdrop within each special space of this luxury home.
