Lift & slide effortessly

The XP Glide LS20 is the lift and slide variant of our popular XP Glide. The system boasts the same outer frame and minimal sightline but with the lift and slide mechanism making it easier to use, lockable in any open position with improved weather ratings and the slimmest sightline of any lift and slide door on the market.

The system offers the visual benefits of a panoramic sliding door but with the mechanical benefits of a lift and slide door.

A sightline of just 20mm

The interlock is structurally bonded on site, which allows us to create really sim sightlines of just 25mm. Despite the slender sightlines the lift and slide system is highly robust, with excellent thermal efficiency that can achieve overall U values as low as 1.4 W/ m2K.

The system enables you to lock the door in any position. As the door lifts onto the ball bearings, the quality of the system minimises the weight, meaning that a double -glazed unit weighing up to 150kg can be easily slid to one side.

Stunning minimalist design

The XP Glide LS20 has good weather and thermal performance with the slender 20 mm sightline section undoubtably it’s key feature. The lift and slide system is available as a twin track only perfect for sliding doors made up of 2 or 4 panels. The product offers superb value and the lift and slide functionality is perfect for homeowners with young children, homeowners who would otherwise struggle to slide a heavy glass door and for homeowners who want the largest possible glass areas combined with smallest possible sightlines.

The Technology

Our Process

20mm slim interlock

Fully weather tested slimline interlock is available on twin track systems, meaning two panels of glass are separated only by a slim aluminium profile of just 20mm.

Lockable in any position

The lift and slide mechanism allows the door to be locked in any open position, perfect for allowing ventilation into the room or for locking the door in an open position while children are playing in and around it. Plus, the door has a night vent making it perfect for bedrooms or for allowing ventilation into a space.
