Our range of inline sliding doors are industry-leading and still offer a real wow factor within any home. A more traditional method of manufacturing sees us fabricating the door and then glazing it on site. The vertical sightline between the panes of glass is still only 35mm so visitors to our showroom often take one look at this stunning product, feel how well it is made and how easy it is to use, and immediately decide that they’ve found the right product for them.
Our structurally bonded and lift & slide doors both contain large and deep outer frames. Our in-line sliding doors boast an outer frame that isn’t as deep, which makes it much more suitable for installing into existing openings, or into an opening that hasn’t been specifically constructed for a certain product. All our sliding doors need to sit on a solid base to take the weight of the door and we need solid fixing points all the way around the door’s outer frame but our in-line sliding doors will require much less modifications to the opening than our bonded & lift and slide options.
Inline sliding doors have less frames & functionality than our lift and slide doors. They are also a simpler product to manufacture, install and service than our structurally bonded doors and these factors are reflected in the price. Our in-line sliding doors are also slightly less expensive than our bi-folding doors, and because of their ease of use, minimal sightlines, good thermal properties, and impressive aesthetics, they are one of our most popular products.
In-line sliding doors boast slimmer profiles than our lift & slide doors and offer great value for money. Triple track sliding doors offer a 66% clear opening & can be installed as wide as 7.5mm to stunning visual effect.
Extremely slim sightlines are a key feature of our in-line sliding doors with typical sightlines of just 35mm or even smaller across some of our range.
Neither the twin or triple track outer frames are as deep as our structurally bonded or lift & slide options. This means in-line sliding doors are more suitable to home renovations & simple to achieve a flush inside to out finish.
