Survey Department

  • Our survey department will send an introduction e-mail as soon as they receive your order paperwork. This e-mail will contain all the necessary information to ensure that your survey goes as smoothly as possible including information on what site conditions we need to carry out the survey, information on your finished floor level and who we ideally need to meet on site.
  • Within three working days our surveying department will be able to confirm the date and time when your survey will take place.


Surveyor Attends Site

  • Our surveyor will measure all the apertures, clarify all specifications of the order, answer any technical or practical questions, leave off-cuts on site and relay all site information back to our office. The paperwork will then make its way to back to your sales representative who will do one final check of the order and survey paperwork before asking you to do a final check and confirm that you are happy will all the finer details such as products, opening configurations and handle colours etc.

Completed Survey Progresses to our Installation Department

  • At this point you will receive a text message to confirm that your bespoke order is being processed.
  • Within five working days you will be contacted by a member of our installation department who will update you on the status of your order, and be your appointed contact for any information or technical questions.
  • Your installation date will be confirmed at the earliest opportunity and we will liaise with you to ensure that the site is both safe and ready for the installation to take place. If required, on large or complex jobs we will re-attend site to carry out a pre-site installation inspection at no cost to you.
  • The day prior to installation we’ll be in touch to once again confirm our attendance and advise of our time of arrival (we give a two-hour window for arrival and will advise if the visit will be AM or PM).

Post Installation

  • Our Customer Service team will contact you once your installation is complete to gain your feedback on your customer experience and order process from start to finish.
  • We will post out your guarantee documentation, operation and maintenance instructions and instructions for who to contact in the event of any aftersales issues or questions.
  • You can purchase maintenance products such as glass cleaner, silicone spray for the rollers & locking mechanism’s & even touch up paint from our EBFD Direct website.
