Background

The owners of this large detached property wanted to renovate their home from front to back, add an extension and create a landscaped garden. The plans included increasing the amount of glazing throughout the property, creating a large, open-plan space downstairs, installing a new kitchen and creating a new patio area to link the house and garden.

What we delivered

The brief for this project meant that our Leeds showroom was the perfect place to visit. Impressed with the products on display we acted as a one-stop-shop for both the glazing and the new, modern kitchen, which was purchased through German kitchen expert Prestons.

The extension has been utilised as a new dining area with a large roof lantern sitting in front of a large picture window on the first floor and above the dining table on the ground floor. The three new elevations are predominantly glazed, with two large picture windows lighting up the returns with a wide, three-panel bi-folding door completing the extension while offering the flexibility to open-up the new dining space and seamlessly connect it with the seating area outside.

XP Glide sliding doors have been utilised in the new kitchen and master bedroom, alongside various fixed, and casement windows throughout the home. Our sliding doors boasts minimal sightlines, so the XP Glide was the perfect product to ensure the kitchen is a bright, airy space with ample views out to the garden.

The finished result is a stunning, light-filled home that externally through a combination of aluminium windows, Yorkshire Stone & a cream rendered finish looks modern but with a traditional touch. Internally the home is a large, open-plan setting with all rooms bathed in natural light. Finished to the highest standard, it is a beautiful home and exactly the type of space we want to help our customers to create through inspirational visits to our unique Leeds showroom, which contains various displays & houses designed with the same briefs as this impressive project.
